The latest Upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer(I.E. Version 7) and Windows Media Player (Version 11) includes security enhancements and also the ability to play High Definition Video files. Here is a link to some sample files.

There is a Free program called Audacity which can be used to capture audio as well as edit audio - They have an excellent website complete with tutorials

You will be unable to receive "off the air" analog TV in about a year. Your choice is to buy a new HD TV or to purchase a converter that will convert the new digital broadcasts to your current Analog TV. The U.S. Government is proving a limited number of certificates which will provide a $40 credit (up to two) to offset the cost of these converters - here is the link to apply for the certificates.

c:/windows/system32/spool/printers
not ....../spool as per the web site instructions.
